Performed extensively with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. In demand as a soloist and ensemble violinist for local and international events. Leader of the San Nikkis trio and jazz violinist of the Tessera all-girls band.

Tang Wern Ning

Biography : Ms Tang holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) as well as a Masters of Arts degree. She has taught for more than 20 years in Singapore. A popular and dedicated teacher, she specializes in teaching young children.

Upon graduation, she taught in a music school and then went on to teach full-time music in an international school. After obtaining her Masters degree, she lectured in the music department of NIE.Having a great interest in music education, she visited the Orff Institute in Salzburg and Zoltan Kodaly Pedagogical Institute of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary.

She had the privilege of studying briefly under Professor Peter Erdei, the founder and director of Zoltan Kodaly Pedagogical Institute of Music.She continues to attend courses in relation to music education to be inspired and informed.

Tatyana Todorova

Biography: Has taught extensively for over 20 years in Bulgaria and Singapore. Under her tutelage, many of her students have won awards in national and international violin competitions. Trainer of numerous high-scorer violinists in the ABRSM examinations.

Natalia Kurganova

Biography: Studied in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow Conservatories (Russia), Berlin Hochschule (Germany). Twice awarded 1st prize in the International Jeunesses Musicales Competition in Vladivostok (Russia). Actively performed as a soloist, chamber violinist and orchestra member in Russia, Germany, Poland, Italy, France and Singapore. Highly sought-after teacher with more than 12 years of experience, specializing in teaching young children. In 2011, awarded for dedication in teaching by American Protege International Competition committee.

Dr. Martin Karnolsky

Biography : Dr. Martin has amassed 27 years of cultural projects such as holding various positions of jury member, executive producer, manager, consultant for international music festivals.

His most recent stint includes lecturing in universities in Russia and Bulgaria and he has conducted masterclasses in Bulgaria, Singapore, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Serbia and Romania.

Dr Martin also has produced publications with his recent publication being, Book Stage Performance for Singers, A Practical Course in 12 Basic Steps.

Advertising and marketing works such as campaigns, events and promotion adds on to his repertoire with him working with companies such as Gillette, Pepsi Cola, Coca Cola, Aqua Fresh, and more.

Mohamad Rasull Bin Md Khelid

Degrees : Bachelor of Arts with Diploma in Education (Music & Mathematics), NIE

Biography : Mohamad Rasull started to pick up the flute on his own at the age of fifteen, whilst being a percussionist during his secondary school days.

His passion in music led him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts with Diploma in Education at the National Institute of Education.

Rasull has had the opportunity to showcase his talent as a flute soloist in performances with the NIE Symphonic band, the Paradigm Wind Ensemble, the Singapore Wind Symphony, the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra and The Chamber Players.

This homegrown artist musical interests also include performance on the clarinet (on which he has obtained an ABRSM Grade 8 Certificate) and the oboe.
