Biography : Studied with renowned Dutch-Australian pianist Gerard Willems. Actively performed in recitals and masterclasses in Sydney Conservatory of Music. Obtained high distinctions in all her piano recital examinations. She has also done piano accompaniment for various violin ABRSM examinations and “O” level Music Elective Programme (MEP) examinations.

Grace Sia

Sylvia Khoo

Biography: Studied with John Kendall. Member of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra before joining Raffles Girls Secondary School as music director for string ensemble. Runs Joyful Strings, a highly acclaimed group of violinists performing for high profile events in Singapore and USA. A regular clinician at Suzuki institutes in Tennessee, Utah, North Carolina, Australia and Singapore. Trainer of many top-scorers of music examinations and prize-winning young violinists in local and international violin competitions.

Ken Tan

Biography: Awarded the first Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) scholarship to pursue music studies in London from 1979-1982. Upon return to Singapore, was member of the SSO till 2005. Taught in National University of Singapore for more than 10 years.

Marinela Balagtas

Biography: Has performed extensively in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, accompanying internationally-renowned artistes. Performed for the late former President of Singapore Ong Teng Chong and Kit Chan during the President’s Charity Show. A popular teacher and well-liked by everyone.
