Year 2025

21 and 22 July 2025: April Misa Masterclass

April Dawnena Merced-Misa is an award-winning Filipino pianist and educator. A full scholar at the Philippine High School for the Arts and the University of the Philippines College of Music, she has won top prizes in the NAMCYA and two concerto competitions, debuting with Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto in B-flat minor.

April has performed extensively across the Philippines and Southeast Asia as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral pianist, including with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and ABS-CBN Philharmonic. Notable performances include Beethoven’s Piano Concerto with Maestro Tetsuji Honna and appearances at the Haruki Murakami Festival. She is also an accomplished songwriter—her work Pag-ibig won the 2018 Timpalak Kundiman.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, April has taught a wide range of students, including during her time in Singapore and in masterclasses in Thailand and Cebu. She is currently Assistant Professor of Piano at the University of the Philippines and is pursuing her doctorate at the Philippine Women’s University.

29th - 30th June 2025: Eunsley Park Masterclass

Mandeville is happy to invite Eunsley Park to conduct a masterclass with us!
An award-winning British/South Korean violinist, Eunsley is currently a First Violinist with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London.

Bio :Eunsley is an award-winning British/South Korean violinist and a 1st violin member of the Philharmonia Orchestra in London.
She has a dynamic and versatile career, concertising as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player, performing in prestigious venues in the UK and internationally.
Eunsley was a student at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Royal College of Music (where she also held the position of Fellow), and University of Performing Arts Vienna. Throughout her studies, she was awarded full scholarships and won numerous prizes and awards for her achievements.
She plays a Lorenzo Storioni violin (1800, Cremona) generously loaned by a patron of the Beare’s International Violin Society

14th & 15th August: Piano & Chamber Music Masterclass with Nigel Clayton!

It was a pleasure having Prof. Nigel Clayton from RCM over to give masterclasses to our conservatory students. It was an enriching experience for the students; the classes provided interesting perspectives to musical techniques and interpretation.

Mandeville Conservatory was proud to have Zornitsa Ilarionova present to provide Masterclass sessions to Violin students. Being a well-renowned performer with numerous awards, students were left with wisdom to carry on and apply to their playing for years to come.
