She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Nanyang Technological University – National Institute of Education (NTU–NIE) and is well known for her structured yet nurturing teaching approach. Her lessons incorporate recognized methodologies such as Kodály, Dalcroze, Carabocone, Music Mind Games, and eclectic teaching strategies to support different learning styles and developmental needs. Ms. Dianne has a strong reputation for guiding students who consistently achieve Merit and Distinction in ABRSM examinations, while also instilling discipline, good values, and a genuine love for music. Versatile and creative in her teaching, she works across classical, pop, and jazz piano, using improvisation to enrich musical expression and deepen musical understanding. Her group classes are especially well received, as she delivers a holistic yet fun and engaging learning experience. Beyond teaching, Ms. Dianne is a composer, arranger, and published author of contemporary keyboard and improvisation books. She has performed in concerts, live bands, and church worship teams, co-produced music albums locally and abroad, and has great experience with music technology . Prior to joining Mandeville, she worked as a musical directress, band keyboardist, and music curriculum consultant, and has received awards in music performance, composition, and choral competitions. While she specialises in teaching young children, Ms. Dianne has successfully taught students ranging from 3 years old to adults in their 50s, reflecting her adaptability and depth as an educator.
